Where is BiciHub in Barcelona?

BiciHub is at Carrer de l'Arquitecte Sert 16, 08005 Barcelona, in the Vila Olímpica neighbourhood, less than 100 metres from the seafront promenade and very close to Nova Icària beach. The shop is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:00 and at weekends from 10:00 to 14:00.

How much does it cost to rent a bike in Barcelona?

At BiciHub a city bike costs from €5 for one hour and €21 for 24 hours. An electric bike ranges from €16 per hour to €51 for 24 hours, and an electric scooter from €12 per hour to €41 for 24 hours. There are also 2, 3, 5 and 8 hour rates, and every rental includes a front basket at no extra cost.

Do I need to book in advance?

It isn't compulsory, but in high season it's the safest option. You can book online choosing the day, time and accessories, or simply come to the shop during opening hours.

What happens if I rent for 24 hours?

Shop hours are for picking up. On 24-hour rentals the clock runs from the moment you collect the vehicle, not from closing time, so you don't lose hours because we close at 17:00. For all other durations the return happens within the agreed hours, and late returns may be charged as extra hours.

Can I cancel or change a booking?

Yes. Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. To cancel or change anything, email contacto@bicihub.es, call +34 646 67 25 22 or send a WhatsApp message to the same number.

Is a helmet included in the rental?

Helmets are rented separately, at €3 per day, and wearing one is mandatory for under-16s. We also have locks and phone mounts at €2 per day, and baby seats at €6 per day.

What's the difference between a city bike, an e-bike and a scooter?

The city bike is the cheapest option and works very well along the bike lanes and the flat seafront promenade. The electric bike has pedal assistance and is the best choice if you want to ride up towards Park Güell or Montjuïc without wearing yourself out. The electric scooter is handy for short trips across the city.

Do you run guided bike tours in Barcelona?

Yes. BiciHub runs guided bike tours of Barcelona starting from our shop in Vila Olímpica. You can book online by picking a day and time.

Do you repair bikes that aren't rentals?

Yes. Bring your bike to the shop, we check it over and give you a free, no-obligation quote. Nothing gets touched until you approve it, and you don't need an appointment.

Do you organise bike outings for companies or groups?

Yes. We put together bike events and outings in Barcelona for companies, groups and private parties, and we can bring the bikes to whichever meeting point you choose. The rental is charged at our standard rates and transport is quoted separately, based on distance and number of vehicles.

What languages do you speak?
